CHOOSING THE RIGHT BAT FOR YOU

Choosing a bat model is just as important as the size. You need to have a bat that matches your hitting style. Bat models are either balanced, slightly end loaded or end loaded. Each has a different swing weight distribution.

Balanced Bats have the weight distributed throughout the length of the bat with more of amedium to thick handle. They are used by contact and gap to gap hitters, as you gain bat speed and bat control, but give up some power. Examples of common balanced bat models are: B271,B252, B110, BRA13

Slightly End Loaded Bats have a slight distribution of weight towards the barrel but also  provides a slightly balance feel. They are used by both contact and power hitters, as theyprovide the features of both the balanced and end loaded models. Examples of commonslightly end loaded bat models are: B141, B318

End Loaded Bats have the weight distributed towards the barrel end of the bat and many feature a thin handle. They are used by the stronger power hitters as they provide increased power and distance on the ball, but you give up some swing speed and bat control. Examples of common end loaded bat models are: B243, B243M, Bi13, BAP5, B2
